One of the rarest and most unseen images from the museum collection, the Ground Zero Christmas tree was unknown to the public and placed deep inside Ground Zero just next to the pile where almost 3000 innocent people died on 9/11. It was placed as a tribute to their memory along with Christmas ornaments and a small replica of the World Trade Center next to it. The twisted steel remains of the trade center can be seen in the background.This image was photographed by Official Ground Zero Photographer Gary Suson on the night of December 11, 2001. Presented in a beautiful gift box. Back of tile is hand autographed by the photographer.
